Of that World Cup side, three players have returned to the team including Ryan James, Mitchell Rush and Taylor Irie.
There will be eight debutants for the series but none are short of experience with a number of players turning out in the Premier Men’s grade at the recently concluded Senior Provincial Championships whilst five players from the New Zealand Under-17 Boys team that won the Junior World Series last year are present including Regan Craig, Ryan Jackson, Ryan James and Jackson Hemingway. Skipper Micah Conroy will complete an impressive double, having also captained that side.
The team will assemble in camp on 8 September for the series that takes place from 12-14 September at the Palmerston North Indoor Sports Arena in Palmerston North.
